"Vrata Biokova" - The House of Rural Tourism

The House of Rural Tourism - "Vrata Biokova" is showing a lot of possibilities for amusement, one-day-break in the intact nature, with beautiful sites and landscapes.

On a beautiful mountain Biokovo, at height of 900 meters, 15 km form the city of Makarska, is the House of Rural Tourism - "Vrata Biokova" that is often called and referred to "oasis of peace and beauty".

There you can order the healthy domestic food, prepared in various Dalmatian ways: ham and cheese from Biokovo, a domestic roast meat, made of four meat types (lamb, beef, goat and chicken), specialities from barbecue, than "Biokovo dish", etc.

Beside these, you can find a domestic brandy that contains 48 medical herbs, different domestic kinds of tea, as well as domestic honey. You can also ride horses, donkeys, take pictures.

From the terrace in front of the house, you can enjoy a beautiful view to the Dalmatian islands, and the landscapes of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
