Dubrovnik is a medieval town on the Croatian coast of the Adriatic Sea - the treasury of cultural and historical monuments during 1,000 years period, one of the most attractive cities of Mediterranean Sea, with one of the richest touristic offers. For its remarkable speciality it soon became and important international touristic centre.

Cultural inheritance of Dubrovnik is literature, painting, architecture, music, philosophy, science and diplomacy. They are also part of the cultural inheritance of Europe and the whole world. In its early history, it was the Town - Republic, famous for its culture on the Mediterranean Sea, immediately after Venice.

In the recent history, Dubrovnik is a center of contemporary cultural events, of summer festivals, international music scenes, and it is a city of museums and galleries, which make it exciting. These values made Dubrovnik into a city which gives a lot of amusement and excitement.

Dubrovnik is surrounded by huge rampart and towers. Walking along the rampart visitors has a nice view over the town and the open sea. Within the walls, there is an Aquarium and one can see fantastic sea life. During clear days, visitors and tourists can enjoy a poetic sunset, from the southern side of the city walls.
